Locked-down
Coronavirus caught us in 2020 by surprise.

During the first lockdown many of us struggled with feelings of sadness, anxiety, lonliness, boredom, overthinking, overdoing, stress, among others.

One day I decided to portray my feelings.
This is a personal project, a metaphor.

You can decide what the box represents for you.
This is only my personal journey.
When something new comes along, we try to adapt.
Maybe we try to put ourselves inside the situation. Then we notice we don't quite fit.
Sometimes we take a step back and look at things from another perspective.
Maybe then are we ready to jump in.
And then we try to find balance inside this context.
We may find this balance. But we may not like it. Then we step out.
And we try to understand once again.
We might as well try to separate the situation from ourselves, make it something foreign. But it at a certain distance so that we feel safe, outside of it.
Or we try to look inside of it, to merge into it.
All of this might not work for us.
And then we realize that sometimes there's no need to rush things; we might need a while to adapt. We might adapt, might not.
Time will tell.
